The Silver School of Social Work's alumni network—more than 15,000 working professionals—constitutes a major social work resource in the metropolitan area and across the country. Most of our alumni work directly with individuals, groups, and families in need, or provide the leadership that makes such professional work possible and effective. Alumni are encouraged to attend events on campus, help the Silver School recruit the finest prospective students, help our students and each other in their careers, provide leadership and support for the School's goals, and to be active and engaged members of the NYU Silver School of Social Work "family."
