Presented by New York University Silver School of Social Work's Zelda Foster Studies Program in Palliative and End of Life Care and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Department, this conference explores psychosocial issues and interventions when working with people with metastatic disease across the illness trajectory including cancer as a chronic illness to the end of life.

Following a key note lecture on clinical interventions with chronically metastatic populations, speakers and panelists will discuss the application of individual and group interventions to practice with this population in community and medical settings.  A final keynote lecture will address the integration of palliative care and  end of life care discussions with adults when working in private practice or agency settings. The conference will provide clinical strategies applicable in multiple settings including inpatient, ambulatory, private practice and agency settings.
