Overview

Taught using a variety of techniques including, slides, interactive lecture and discussion, presenter led demonstrations, and handouts, this training for social work professionals and those in related fields will provide an overview and methodology for raising funds in the current not-for-profit landscape.

  1. Learn the art of fundraising;
  2. Learn fundraising strategies; and
  3. Learn skills of assessment of needs and priorities, identification of fundraising sources, establishment of relationship and the art of the ask.

cancellations and refunds

In the event that after registering, you determine that you can no longer attend this event, The Office of Global and Lifelong Learning offers refunds on the following basis:

  • Refund requests made on or before September 30 (by midnight): full refund
  • Refund requests made on or before October 5 (by midnight): 50% refund
  • Refund requests made on or after October 6: no refund

In the instance of event cancellation, all registrants will be fully reimbursed.
