Virge Luce Honored by the Latino Social Work Task Force
Clinical Assistant Professor Virge Luce was honored by the Latino Social Work Task Force for her social work leadership on behalf of the Latino community. Luce was recognized as a 2011 Distinguished Honoree during the Latino Social Work Task Force's 7th Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, March 10.
A collaboration between the Puerto Rican Family Institute and NASW-NYC, the Task Force's key goal is to raise the awareness of the shortage of Latino social workers needed to serve the Latino community and create a collaborative effort to address this need.
