McSilver to Co-Sponsor Children's Mental Health Symposium

The McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research is co-sponsoring a one-day symposium with the Congressional Research institute for Social Work Policy and Practice (crispinc.org) on Tuesday October 29. The aim is to examine federal policy as it relates to the provision of children’s mental health services; to inform congressional offices and staff about recent developments in the delivery of mental health services to children; to share lessons learned from the DC Department of Mental Health; and to increase public awareness of children’s mental health issues.
