NYU Responds to Super Typhoon Haiyan
November 14, 2013
Super Typhoon Haiyan passed through the Central Philippines and devastated the lives of many. Given the gravity of the situation and the desire of many in our community to help those who have been affected by this devastating event, the Student Senators Council, the Faculty Senators Council, the Administrative Management Council, and the Deans Council are working together and with several offices and organizations on campus to form an All-University relief effort. We will be sure to keep you abreast of this relief effort as we solidify details.
Until then, you can find additional information on the University's initiatives and ways to personally help at this website; we thank you for your generosity. We are certain we speak for the entire NYU community when we convey our heartfelt sympathies to the people of the Philippines.
And if you have been affected by this unfortunate disaster, or should you have any questions, comments, or concerns, we implore you to reach out to any of us, or to the Wellness Exchange.
