NYU Names Theresa Urcinoli Give-A-Violet Award Recipient

New York University has named Theresa "Terry" Urcinoli as a recipient of the 2015-2016 Give-A-Violet Award. Ms. Urcinoli is Administrator for the Doctorate in Clinical Social Work (DSW) Program at the Silver School of Social Work; she joined the school in 2000.

"I am honored to be selected for this award," said Urcinoli. "I want thank Dr. Carol Tosone for the opportunity to partner with her in support of the DSW program. It’s truly humbling to know that the Silver Faculty both support and appreciate my work."

The Give-A-Violet Award provides faculty, administrators, and staff the opportunity to thank members of the NYU community who have go above and beyond the normal scope of their positions, demonstrate specific values, and are exceptional at performing their everyday responsibilities.

"Terry’s integrity, respect for others, and ability to adapt to change are an example to everyone," said NYU Silver School Dean Lynn Videka.
