Dr. Dylann Gold, a clinical assistant professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Child Study Center, will discuss therapeutic interventions for addressing challenging behavior in young children. This workshop will provide an overview of disruptive behavior in early childhood, as well as discuss evidence-based approaches for working with children, parents, and teachers.
Learning Objectives
As a result of attending this presentation, participants will:
- Learn to identify disruptive behavior disorders, including symptoms, associated features, development/course, prevalence, and public health implications
- Understand theoretical principles underlying behavior therapy for disruptive behavior and identify commonly used tools
- Learn approaches for troubleshooting when behavior plans are not working effectively

Dylann Gold, PhD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, NYU Langone Child Study Center
Dr. Dylann Gold is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Institute for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity & Behavior Disorders and Early Childhood Clinical Service at the NYU Child Study Center. Dr. Gold specializes in ADHD, disruptive behavior, anxiety, and mood disorders. Her focus is on parent-based interventions for young children.

- Refund requests made on or after May 26: no refund
