Exploratory Options

Are you considering a career in social work but not sure it’s the right path? Are you compelled by our highly-ranked MSW program but not ready to commit? Do you hope to expand your knowledge and enhance your qualifications to be admitted to our MSW program in the future?

NYU Silver offers two non-degree, exploratory options that enable U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university to enroll in select graduate-level courses without being admitted to our MSW program.

Both our in-person Non-Matriculated and our fully-online ONRAMP options enable students to explore social work and experience NYU Silver’s rigorous coursework.
