Graduation

Celebrating the Class of 2024

Graduation is an opportunity to mark a key milestone in our students’ social work journey and to welcome them into our alumni network. It is a calling together of our community to recognize and celebrate our students’ completion of their studies with us and to confer upon them their degrees. It also marks a beginning, where graduates start the next step in their journeys as social work professionals. Even more so this year, we were excited to come together with families and loved ones at the magnificent United Palace in Washington Heights to honor and cheer for our Class of 2024.

Celebrating the Classes of 2020 and 2021

Our Classes of 2020 and 2021 are truly special. When COVID-19 forced all instruction online, our graduates met the challenge of completing their rigorous coursework and Field learning with creativity and grace. Moreover, many of them found ways to serve those most affected by the pandemic.

The ongoing pandemic caused our in-person Convocation ceremonies to be postponed in May 2020 and 2021. Finally, with the pandemic easing in May 2022, we are gathering as a larger community of Silver students, faculty, colleagues, family and friends to celebrate our remarkable, reslient classes of 2020 and 2021.
