Two-Year
General admissions requirements only; no further requirements apply.
Two-Year at Shanghai and New York
General admissions standards apply, in addition to:
Ability to study and work in a multicultural environment
First year in Shanghai and second year in New York
If English is not your native language, you must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) exam.

16-Month Accelerated
General admissions standards only; no further requirements apply. This program is available at our Washington Square and Rockland County campuses.
Advanced Standing
General admissions standards apply, in addition to:
Applicants must have earned a baccalaureate degree in social work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited institution within the last five years. A grade of B or better in social work courses is required.
Extended
General admissions standards only; no further requirements apply.
Extended One-Year Residence
General admissions standards apply, in addition to:
Applicants must have provided direct services under the supervision of an MSW social worker, a psychologist (PhD), or a psychiatrist to clients for at least two years and be currently employed in a social work agency. During the practicum placement, students must be supervised by an MSW (other than their current supervisor) who is Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) trained.
Extended at Shanghai and New York
General admissions standards apply, in addition to:
Ability to study and work in multicultural environments
First two years in Shanghai and third year in New York
The extended pathway is available to Chinese nationals (including residents from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) and to non-Chinese nationals who have an appropriate visa for part-time study.

32-Month for Working Professionals

Applicants must have at least three years of professional or business experience working with people and be employed full-time.
