A Guide to Using the NYU Silver Online Room Scheduling System

The NYU Silver room scheduling system is a web-based tool that enables you to browse for space, request space, manage your reservations, and view a calendar of room activity at 1 Washington Square North. This is similar to Kimmel One Stop, but tailored for the School of Social Work.

You can browse events or spaces without an account. To request space and manage reservations an account is required. Accounts are provided upon request, and will be issued within two business days by Administrative Services after approval. When your account is activated, you will be able to login with your NetID and password.

Department Room Request Guidelines

  • Accounts are created upon request. Please allow 48 hours for your account to be activated.
  • Spaces must be reserved more than 48 hours in advance; If you would like to make a request with less than 48 hours notice, please call Administrative Services at 212.998.5900
  • Furniture setup must be requested 48 hours in advance. If you are making a reservation with less than 48 hours notice, please contact Administrative Services.
  • On site technician service is dependent on staff availability. IT is typically staffed between 9a.m. - 5p.m. M-F. Limited coverage is available outside of business hours. If needed, we can schedule an advanced training session for the classroom technology.
  • All request are pending approval. You will receive an email after submitting your pending request. After your request is reviewed by Administrative Services you will be emailed a confirmation.

  • Building hours are 8 a.m. - 10 p.m., Monday - Friday. Any requests outside of these dates will not be available. Buildings are considered closed on Holidays when NYU is closed.
