DSW Student Pens New York Times Post

In September, the Silver School of Social Work welcomed its first cohort of 14 students to the DSW program in clinical social work. The program prepares licensed social workers to become leaders in agencies and academic institutions. These students come from a variety of social work settings.

Steven Kuchuck is currently completing his DSW, and recently penned a New York Times Opinionator piece,“Disaster-Zone Therapy,” on his own experience during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and those of his patients. Steven Kuchuck is a faculty member at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, and is the editor of Clinical Implications of the Psychoanalyst’s Life Experience: When the Personal Becomes Professional.
