DAISY BONILLA

Daisy Bonilla loves to dream BIG! Originally from the San Fernando Valley in California, she has lived in many different places and loves to travel. Being able to live in different parts of the world has taught her that no matter the language or cultural barriers, you can always make a difference in someone's life if you’re willing to listen and offer a helping hand.

Before coming to NYU for grad school, Daisy was a child advocate and forensic interviewer at the Children’s Safety Center which ignited her passion for working with families who have been victims of child abuse. She hopes to spread awareness on this prevalent issue. She want to teach families how to protect their children, to help eliminate victim blaming and help change our legal system so that victims and their families can obtain the rightful justice they seek.
