End Homelessness Policy Proposals for the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election

 " "

As 2020 is about to begin, the Grand Challenges for Social Work End Homelessness Challenge has issued a compilation of recommendations for U.S. presidential candidates from leading experts nationally. NYU Silver and USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work co-sponsored the publication, which was edited and introduced by the End Homelessness Challenge co-leads, our own Professor Deborah Padgett and USC Associate Professor and Center for Homelessness, Housing and Health Equity Research Director Benjamin Henwood (an NYU Silver MSW and PhD alum). Policy makers at all levels can learn from the essays, which draw on the contributors' deep knowledge of the research and systems to explain how we can end homelessness - if only there were the political will.
