NYU Silver Dual-Degree Program Admission Standards
The Silver School of Social Work evaluates applicants for Dual Degree Programs using the same criteria used for admission to the Two-Year pathway, which can be found on our Pathway-Specific Admissions Standards page. Those interested in entering a dual-degree program must fill out a separate application for each school. Available dual-degree programs include:
- Social Work and Child Development (MSW and MA)
- Social Work and Law (MSW and JD)
- Social Work and Global Public Health (MSW and MPH)
- Social Work and Public Administration (MSW and Executive MPA)
Each school will evaluate the application based on its own requirements. No special admission standards are applied to dual-degree applicants at either school. Once admitted to both schools, the student qualifies for the Dual-Degree Program.
JD students enrolled in their first year at NYU School of Law can apply.
