Pedagogy Development Course
For new (and returning) instructors who want to develop their pedagogy and teaching practice, we offer a self-paced pedagogy course. The course is appropriate for adjuncts teaching in the classroom and in practicum education, as Faculty advisors. Social Work Pedagogy Course includes 5 asynchronous units and the opportunity to come together 4 times over the course of the semester with other instructors to discuss teaching praxis. Educational Technology Services
Silver's Educational Technology team supports faculty with strategies and skill development for using technology in the classroom, integrating technology and learning design, and leveraging technology to address teaching and learning challenges.
The team is directed by Henry Samelson, Associate Director of Educational Technology at NYU Silver School of Social Work. Henry holds an M.A. in Digital Media Design for Learning/Games for Learning from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
