Office for Research
The Office for Research (OFR) facilitates the conduct of research by Silver faculty, fosters skill development, and helps disseminate the findings and new knowledge resulting from important and impactful scientific research conducted by Silver faculty.
The OFR team is led by Marya Gwadz, PhD, Associate Dean for Research, Nicholas Reed, Director of Research Administration, Maggie Chen, Senior Grants Specialist, and Helen Flaherty, Grants Administrator. The office can be contacted at the following email address: silver.ofr@nyu.edu.
Antiracist Pedagogy
Led by Pedagogy Supports Working Group co-chairs, Professors Doris Chang and Linda Lausell Bryant, NYU Silver is proactively and intentionally centering our pedagogy in antiracist and inclusive practices.

The Office of Global Inclusion, Diversity, and Strategic Innovation (OGI)—as strategic consultants across NYU—seeks to promote best practices that foster global diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging across NYU. Educational Technology Services
Silver's Educational Technology team supports faculty with strategies and skill development for using technology in the classroom, integrating technology and learning design, and leveraging technology to address teaching and learning challenges.
The team is directed by Henry Samelson, Associate Director of Educational Technology at NYU Silver School of Social Work. Henry holds an M.A. in Digital Media Design for Learning/Games for Learning from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
