After the initial ticketing period ends (4/19) and all tickets are claimed out of the initial allotment of 5 tickets per graduate, we will open a random lottery system by which graduates can request additional tickets. Continue to check your NYU email for updates!
We strongly discourage the buying and selling of tickets, however you are welcome to transfer them to a classmate by selecting the tickets on their behalf and sending to them via email.

The Silver School of Social Work graduation ceremony will be taking place at the United Palace Theatre (4140 Broadway) on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

No, graduates must sit in a graduate seating area, however specific seating is not assigned. Your guests, however, will have assigned seats based on the tickets they receive. Stay tuned for more information on guest ticketing.
No, you will receive your diploma separately via mail after your degree has been completed, likely by August 1. On the stage, you will receive a special congratulatory gift from Dean Michael Lindsey.
There are no graduation honors offered at the Silver Graduation Ceremony apart from being noted as a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society in the ceremony program. If you are a Phi Alpha member and wish to purchase graduation regalia, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Grad Alley is an annual outdoor celebration, held the night before Commencement (Tuesday 5/16 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM), to mark the accomplishments of the graduating class.
